How do I know which manual I need?

How do I find out which model I have? I just bought a Ferguson T30 - told it's either 1956 or 1957. Somehow the serial # is supposed to tell me, or is it the model? All #s are still readable on the plate. Help! Need to do work on it, and I'm at a loss, since it didn't come with a manual or any kind of paperwork. Thank you!

The 30 was built from 1951 thru 1954. Serial # will be below steering wheel. Give the #
and someone will tell you what year.

Appears to be a 1954, final serial number
produced was 140000.

It's a '54, one of last 30s built. Serial number list is in column on left, then click on ferguson and go to appropriate model to get
your year. Year is not important for this tractor. All years pretty much the same. Get shop and parts manuals.

TO30 Service Manual 196 Pages (Part No: 55-FDSM)
TO30 Parts Manual 135 Pages (Part No: MH_TO20_PT)
TO30 Operators Manual 50 Pages (Part No: MH-O-MFTO30)

Yes. Operators manual is pretty basic, but yes, those are the manuals.
