MF 50 for sale

That looks like a very nice tractor. We own a 2135 and a TO35 with the same power train, they are tractors second to none in my opinion.

From looking at the pictures and the specs on Tractor Data, looks like a TO35 with different sheet metal and a different exhaust.

If the one you are looking at is original paint, and runs well, goes through all the motions, probably a good tractor.

If it's been painted, beware of "restoration by sprat can", could be hiding a lot of abuse.

For $3500 it would need to be in really great condition, work ready.

The MF50 is the same as F40. The F40 was changed to MF50 in 1958 after the MH take over. The 40 and 50 difference is the sheet metal. The 35 has same engine but look at the steering on the 50. Not the same. They are different.

I see the steering now! Some other differences in the front end, different casting in front of the engine, so strut rods.

Would that front end handle a loader?

I think it looks real good. Love the tires. Not sure they bring quite that much even in real nice shape, unless completely restored. If I was not far away and needed it, and if it checked out mechanically, I might offer $3k and see ....

I got 3 of this model. A 'go to' tractor. Well, with ps, and looks restored or better than nice original, if it runs as good as it looks, I'm with Phil, show him 25 100 dollar bills, then pull out one more at a time.... stop at 3000. 35 is kinda high no mater what was done.

Looks nice, but it better not have any issues for that price.

I wonder what that pipe is coming out the left side near the back of the engine.

The valve breather and pump don't interfere, so that shouldn't be it, although it could be someones home made re-route of the breather. The do seem to rust out.
