To 30 rear wheel potential

Has anyone tried to put taller tires on a Fergy. I'm getting sick of digging balled up hay out from under my to 30. I was hopeing some one would have a good idea on how to put 11.2 38 on her?

Shucks, just find some 11.2 X 38s from a Ferguson 40 or MH 50 row crop. That will get it out of the weeds...

Simple solution without affecting your gearing...? Fit a sheet of flat galvanised steel to either side of the front axle and again at the rear....give it a temporary 'smooth bottom!' We used to have to do this on larger tractors round baling straw behind wide cut combines........Sam
