The pin has to be removed by taking housing off and it comes off to the inside. Tapered
pin. Hope this is what your working on as I understand it.
 

Thanks Miner, but I don't see a pin. Just to be clear, I'm trying to remove the lift shaft from the top cover. The I &T manual, which appears to be very limited, says "lift shaft removal is evident"....except to me!
I can only assume that is presses out through the bushings and the lift ram (being the part which has the rod connected to the hydraulic piston) will slide off as it is pressed.

My shaft bushings are loose and I want to replace them.
 
I was thinking 3 point lift arms. Yes they are hard to get apart.You can go to AGCO Parts Book and look at parts and may see something different.
