I've never seen one before in any parts books I have, or in any books the dealer I worked for had either.

My guess is it was used for side hill work, shifting the plow maybe?

Ad says "Has factory optional side shift hitch adjustment." Whatever that is. :?
It appears that the lever in the next to last picture will rotate the bar that will move that bracket up or down but I don't have a clue what the bracket's for.

Not a bad price if it's in good condition as they say. Plus you may have something no one else has. What ever it is. I have a 30 with live PTO which is some what rare.

Nice tractor but someone has went a real long way about inventing a hillside hitch!...We used hillside hitches here in the UK as our ground is very undulating but we had a ratchet type affair in place of the standard Ferguson flat bar stabiliser. Not a Ferguson item sorry!.........Sam
