New Exhaust Options

Monday my vertical exhaust pipe rusted out and broke off while I was mowing. Now I am looking to install a new exhaust and muffler. My question is; what is everyone's preference on routing. Stay vertical or run it out below. I personally like the look of vertical but do have a couple of low limbs I have to go around. I had a 9N that had a belly mount exhaust that I also bumped on some things too.
Just curious what others think.

If you like the vertical exhaust trim the limbs up so you don't hit them. I trim every thing up so I can work around it with out any trouble.

Depends on what you doing with the tractor,

Personnel, I do not like the noise and exhaust fumes in my face with the upright exhaust (TO35)

However, when pulling my corn picker I wanted the up right so muffler would not set field on fire, had that happen a few times with belly
exhaust, that will get your blood pumping for sure,

Also, with up right muffler I hit a tree limb one too many times and broke off the rear outside corner of the exhaust manifold,

I no longer pull the old picker, so I have a under belly exhaust,
Much happier, (you cannot just stop in heavy dry grass rotary cutting)

Must pay attention, as you do with your radiator front screen, cannot just set up there and day dream when driving a small tractor,

What I like is under slung. Then a 180 degree and back forward along the muffler and exit to outside in front of rear tire.
I originally made it when I split wood but have been leaving it on year around now.

No I don't think like that. I decided to order a new vertical exhaust instead of replacing the tractor. Lots cheaper
