TO20 vs TE20 Interchangeability

Hello all,
I'm considering the purchase of a TE20. The serial number is 45433. The motor is badged as a Continental. Is see tons of parts for the TO20 but not as many for the TE20. How much diffrence between these two models? Are most things interchangeable? The tractor in question is pretty straight except for the lower corners of the grille where the hood pivots. Are these aluminum panels hard to find? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'll try an add some pic's so you can see the TE20 as it sits. The tractor has been parked for years but is not stuck.

Just about everything you will need is available from Sparex or a multitude of other parts suppliers in Australia and the UK . Lots of suppliers on EBay as well .

You can click on Tractor Parts on this site and see what they have available for the Continental engine and also see what they have for TE 20 parts. I am sure you would be able to get most anything you need. As Charles said lots of parts on Ebay and also check at www.ebay.co.uk. You can also put a classified ad on this site to request parts that you can't find otherwise.

When these tractors were in production there was some sort of trade deal that favoured British goods in Commonwealth countries.Thousands of TE and TEA tractors were shipped into Canada while the US production largely stayed in America.Canadian wreckers should have parts or know how to get them.Canada got a mix of US and British production into the 135s.

I'd recommend getting the parts manual it covers the to and te tractors also the interchange parts with the Ford 2n and 9n.
