Front axle support

Just bought this 55 TO-35 and in the process of some other work found out the holes where the pivot pin goes through the front axle support are wore out, one is even egg shaped. Don't have $400 for a new one So my question is has anyone ever had a machine shop either make bushings or weld up and mill back down to specs?

In my opinion this repair is not the place to go cheap,
I have seen this part fail, when it breaks, the tractor goes straight to the ground taking out the radiator, fan assembly, hood,
And depending on the job you are doing at the time anything else that is around you,
Would be especially dangerous if you do much road driving or working on hills,

Be safe, keep the new or repaired parts lubed with spray graphite

Not sure what ones interchange but I
have one from a to 20 I believe it is.
If it will interchange we could work a
deal much cheaper than that

There is two different pins and bushings. One pin is 5 3/4 and has a 7/8 bolt hole.
Other 4 1/4 with 9/16 bolt hole. Bushing about $10--pin $30. Not anything close 400. If
axle is worn I wire weld to take slack out. Take deburr bit and smooth it close. Not
pretty but works. You can get it close. If this site doesn't have them Sparex will.

Ferguson Parts Book # 693 041 M2 Indicates the FRONT AXEL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY IS THE SAME ON TO20's/TO30'S AND TE20'S:

This info is from the Parts Book NOT from experience:

Once upon a time, I took the wobbled out front axle and a new center pin down to the local machine shop. $90 and it came back.

So I suppose his 35 may be different then, I'm more a Ford tractor guy this Ferguson just kinda ended up here as parts lol

(quoted from post at 14:17:17 05/07/16) Once upon a time, I took the wobbled out front axle and a new center pin down to the local machine shop. $90 and it came back.
'm thinking I might take it down and see what the charge would be to fix the 2 holes. Thanks for the reply BRuce.

How loose are you talking anyhow, some
movement is fine, it's always weighted
the same direction, not going to fall
out etc.

Front hole not to bad but back hole is egg shaped pretty bad. Plus many years ago the bolt was welded to the pin and I haven't been able to get the bolt out yet.
