I have a Ferguson TO-20 that keeps spitting out the distributor. The original seemed like the advance mechanism retaining nuts were just stripped and jammed up the distributor, causing it to pop up and jump spark timing. Tried to repair, but ended up purchasing a replacement from YT. When I installed it and set the timing, it fired right up, and then began backfiring. Seems my cam nut may be loose. The tractor in at my place in Eastern TN. I will be going back down in April to repair. My question: What size wrench do I need for the Crank pulley (hand crank) nut? I forgot to measure when I was there in February. Just don't want to have to buy something I already have.
Thanks a bunch,
