TO20 steering box fix help

My grandfather has a TO20 and the steering on it has gotten pretty sloppy over the years. I see they sell a bearing & bushing kit on the site for $112. Do you think this would bring it back up to par?

Thanks! Also this TO20 has the Sherman step up trans which is the cable shift that goes through the dash.
 
New bushings and seals will help if you have leaking around the shoulders coming out of the steering box, and of course will help tighten things up. I would start with the adjustment screws on either side of the box first. Loosen the large nut and evenly tighten the screw to remove play in the steering. You should also check out your tie rod ends which also get loose.

I went through this on one of my TO30's last year, the play was all in the steering box and just needed adjustment.

Nope, that kit is for the spindles on the end of the axle.
There are 3 bushings and 2 seals on the box.

Be sure you support the steering box properly when you press the bushings in or you can break the housing.

This site doesn't carry the seals, but NAPA does. Part # NOS 13027. If you don't have a NAPA store, other places can cross-reference from the NAPA number.
