I was taught that when gapping a spark plug a slight drag should be felt as the gapper passes between the electrode and what ever that other thing is called.

have I been doing it wrong all these years???

thanks.

I just use a dime.

If I don't have a dime, I use two nickels.

(Sorry, but I heard that one from an Old Mechanic about 40 years ago, and have never had a chance to use it - 'til now!)

I put new plugs in one of my machines today and was wondering how someone else may do it. I too use a round wire gauge.
