Hi All, long time no speak

The air breather pipe that runs from the tappet cover the the exhuast on my fergie is a little mangled. So i need to replace the pipe. I have searched the web put have not been able to find one for sale.

I am think of buying some copper pipe and making it myself, just not sure about getting the fittings on the pipe and having no air leaks.

Anyone had a crack at doing this or ideas on replacing it.

Cheers

Made one myself exactly the way you intended to . Mine had been snapped off and bent over double . If you are worried about the flattened section don't be that is how the majority of them left the factory only the TED tractors had different ones for some reason .
A plumber with an oxy set and silver solder can remove the ends from the old one and re fit them to your new pipe if you need to .
Dress the surfaces of the banjo bolt so it seals well and make sure you have the restrictor valve and jiggle pin in place or else the tractor will fart harder than a wombat on the p!$$.

That's the pipe that goes to the air cleaner Crazy .
The rocker cover breather has a fitting at either end . One from the cover the other to the manifold .

Cheers charles. I need to pull it off and have a look, I cleaned mine out but butchered it in the process, want to replace as i have just got tractor going after about a year of sitting and it is farting and splattering. I static timed it, it runs worse know, think i need to pull the tappet cover and check valve clearances since the re build over a year ago... as it has a serious backfire going on and seems to die when it heats up. so hoping the valve job i did is ok.
