My Dads Passing

I also posted some of this information on the Tractor Talk Board above but I wanted to make sure that all my Dads Ferguson friends got it too. My Dad Lee Folkerts who was a long time member of FENA passed away Saturday Evening March 19, 2016 and was laid to rest Thursday March 24, 2016. Dad was an avid Ferguson collector and loved attending and when possible displaying his tractors and equipment at the various Ferguson Expos here in the midwest. A lot of you folks knew him and many of you have already expressed your condolences to my family. We Thank You ever so much for your kind words and gestures and hope to keep the collection together so that we can display it in the future in honor of Dad. We have used the information you folks have posted on this board in the past to get us through many snags in our restoration projects in the past and I want to personally say Thank You for that.

So sorry to read this. I'm sure the whole forum and FENA members wish condolences on you and your family.
If you can get through the process, please feel free to post some pictures of him and his collections on here.
I'm certain he will be deeply missed by the gang....

May he rest in peace and God willing, you and the family are able to keep his collection intact and on display. God Bless!

My thoughts are with you and your family during your time of grief with the passing of your father. He was a huge contributor to the Ferguson community. He will be missed as a friend, collector and customer.

So sorry to hear about about your fathers passing. I did not know your father, but was wondering if the picture I am sending is he?

Bob: You have giant shoes to fill, hope you and Max can get the side mounted baler going. The FENA show is at Antique Acres in 2017, so the pressure is growing. Your Dad was looking forwards to the show. I sent him copies of the IHC knotter instructions which he said was the same as Ferguson. If you need nore copies let me know.
Your Dad will be missed by all as he had touched a lot of peoples life, and all liked him.

That is not a picture of dad, however that gentleman's last name was Folkerts. I saw that photo in a book several years ago and attempted to contact him from the caption information. I talked to his widow and found out that he had passed awa a few years before. If memory serves me correctly, I believe he was from the Beatrice Nebraska area. Sorry it took so long to get back to you it has been a busy few weeks and our cows are starting to calve now too. Thanks for asking and he did bear an uncanny resemblance to dad. I'm guessing that we are distantly related.
