Shifts the pto in and out of gear, when the pto lever is moved.

pardon my dunceness but the pto lever on the side moves the pto in and out of gear why would this be needed?

teve, this part is inside the tractor. The PTO lever moves the PTO clutch/hub on/off the PTO shaft.

I don't know how to post a page out of my Parts Book, but you can see it over on the "other" N Board, if you don't have a Parts Book handy.
