Yes, the first ingredient of TEA transmission cases flew for the first time 80 years ago today. Just incase any of you guys are awake....
 

I recommend David Beaty: "The White Sea Bird", about flying British Coast Guard missions in a B24. The author did so, and is very realistic. I just finished reading it.
He wrote on many other aviation topics.
 
Looks like Dan S won the cigar. It was getting old anyway. kinda cracked and falling apart, smelled like old shoes. Too bad the prize wasn't a pack of Benson and Hedges huh?
