1959 TO35 injection pump and fuel filter

I am new to this forum. I just purchased a 1959 TO35 with the Standard 23C diesel. The injector pump was frozen up so I purchased a rebuild kit and pulled it apart as far as I felt comfortable with. The pumping plungers were not moving as well as one of the rollers. After days of spraying with oil and smacking with a rubber mallet they seem to be free. I am not sure if there is any issues with the passages the plungers slide in since I could not get the two bolts holding the drive plate on, I was afraid I would twist them off. I also did not disassemble the governor weight assembly and it seemed to have a lot of slot in it, is that normal. The two main questions are the end plate on my pump is like the one in the picture below and I can not find any information on rebuilding it. It seems to only have a filter screen in it. The kit has all the parts for the regulating valve which mine does not have. Anyone know where I can get the information? 2. How does the fuel filter housing come apart. It appears as it should screw off but I don't want to mess it up. Any suggestions?

Filter comes apart by first removing the small banjo line on top, then turn loose the larger center bolt. Injection pump is the early style with the bolt on load advance that is best set on the test bench. Last pump I had was in really bad shape, after a complete tear down and cleaning I was able to get it adjusted as needed on the test bench. Your pump has the very early style end cap made of steel, all later pumps have aluminum end plates. Both have pressure regulator sleeves but the early end plate has it in a different location..
