Tea20 leveling box

Is there a thrust washer that sits under the gear on the shaft?
If so does any body know what size it is?

I stripped my box apart and there seems to be the remains of a washer but look like it had a cage around it.
The gears look ok and it needs spacers or what ever to get them to mesh properly.

John, there should be a thrust [b:84f31aba4d][i:84f31aba4d]bearing[/i:84f31aba4d][/b:84f31aba4d] in there. I think the original part number is 195457M1, but check that part number for a TEA20. That bearing is readily available - I replaced mine.

Is this PARTS picture of any help?

Brought a thrust bearing today only AU$11.05.
Got it from Goulburn Farm Machinery 02 4821 4148.
They have one left on their shelve and the boss is very knowledgeable and helpful on Fergie stuff.

Here are 2 photos.
One shows the base of the box. I think the grease channels are not good enough as there was grease everywhere but these channels wee full of dried grease. That I reckon was why the bearing sized.

The other photo shows the grease nipple which is only a push fit. I've never seen that before. The other nipple on the threaded shaft ia a normal threaded type.

John, you can still get press-in grease fittings if you want one; otherwise, self-tapping fittings are also available, or you could drill and tap the hole.

Glad you found a dealer that could help.

By the way: Pom? (I think I know what it means.)
