Newbie here with a tea 20

Hi all I just got my girl home it's a 53 tea-20 it's been in my family for 30 years, my farther used it timber cutting forestry block he use to cut rosewood and ironbark post then load it with this old girl then when he finished up there he gave it to my grandma ( his mother inlaw) her and her husband used it for many of years then September last year they said I could have it and finally got her home on Australia Day and fired her up that night she had been sitting for a few years and yeah done the oil trick and yeah seams like a goer just thought I'd share with you guys

One of the simple things you can do is remove the fuel tank and clean it out , while there take off the fuel tap and bowl as well . Dismantle the tap and give it a good blast with air , be extra thorough with the copper gauze in the bowl if it is still there .
After that removing the carburettor bowl and cleaning that will make things much more reliable , fuel delivery is probably the area that can give the most trouble .
