Ferguson Original Wiring colors

1953 TO 30, converted to 12 volts by taking an old generator and rebuilding it with 12 volt field coils. My question is, I am using the wiring diagram for a Ferguson TO-30 with a Continental engine with a 12 volt generator and can not find the color of the wires anywhere on the diagram. Just want to try and keep the colors as close to original as possible. Anyone able to help?

I can't help with the colors. Did you keep the rebuilt generator as positive grd. or change to negative grd? Only curious.

Went with negative, easier to remember if it is 12 volt that negative is ground. will be using a 12 volt regulatorvalso

Try Bob Sybrandy at the FENA club -he is the resident expert and most likely has the correct color codes.
