Mid Mounted Cultivator

Purchased a mid-mounted cultivator and need to know the color it was painted from factory. I've never seen one at any shows. Not sure if they were painted flint metallic to match chassis. Thanks for your help. They were built for the F40 and MH 50. This one came off 1956--MH50 but has no paint. Man I bought it from grandfather bought it new but he didn't remember the color.

Ferguson implements were painted Ferguson grey.....just the flat grey/gray colour/color!......

I knew the early plows and equipment were gray but didn't know about the later for F40's and 50's. Just didn't know how gray would look on the beige. I'll have it on before to long. The ad that I have said you can put it on 25 minutes. It's simple. I have everything except two rods that come from power lift arm to the front. Simple to make. I'll put it on the Row Crop or Single wheel.

I think they were all made in golden bronze cause they all went on MH50 tricycles....
but, Rustoleum makes a fine Ferguson gray that holds up well in chilly pepper soils and tomallay dust...

There just has to be some paint on it somewhere. Does not look like it is gray in the photo... looks like it matches the tractor. KB

Mickey there is one on a 40 at the flywheelers now that is painted green. I will try to get a picture of it for you.

they were painted Ferguson gray the same gray as the latter Ferguson implements and the sheet metal of the green and gray 35's not the early gray of the 20 and 30's. I had one that had its original paint. Watch out installing the front part of the cultivators they are finger pichers!!

Well this one only has red primer( I think ). I was looking at Google F40 and there is one that looks like MF red but dull and looks original( tractor also). Didn't know if they built them after the 65 came out. I know there were a lot of 6 rows used with MF 65 in West Texas where I found this one. I'm going back and I'll ask more question. Thanks
