Hey guys, I've got two Z129 Engine blocks with separate issues.

1) One block is in good condition without cracks between the webs, the issue is that person that I bought if from misplaced two of the main bearing caps. One of the replacement caps looks close, the one on the end closest the flywheel will require line boring.

2) Block #2 has a hair line crack between one pair of cylinders. The crack is small, this block came with a tractor that was partially dismantled. Now I know why the tractor had been take apart. Everything else about the block is in good condition, matching caps ect.

What would you experts do with these blocks? Normally I would just toss them in the metal dumpster. If somebody can use them I'd be willing to help somebody out. Lots of you guys have been good to me over the years and I'm happy to return the favor if somebody needs one of these.

I would have no issues running either block. I would say at least half of the Z129 blocks out there are cracked between the cylinders...maybe more. I've been running a Z120 that is cracked between every cylinder for 5 years now. I have no issues with it other than that motor is just worn out.

Jason,
Thanks for your helpful comments. I hope that somebody can make use of one or both of these blocks. I've recently put 2 or 3 of them in the scrap dumpster because they were missing bearing caps. It's really difficult to sell a block that is missing caps and have any kind of faith in the transaction.
Thanks again,
Dave

Tom,
I have sent you a private message regarding the blocks. I'm located in Northern, VT and am happy to load them in the back of your pickup truck or ship them both to you via common carrier to a business address or dock pickup. Cost to ship two blocks to MA would be approx. $215.00 give or take a few dollars either way.
