Good Morning. Hoping I can get some help. I pulled a real dumb one yesterday morning, in my morning stupor. I boosted my TEA20 with a
battery pack, like I almost always do, because the battery is weak. But, you guessed it, I reversed the polarity. Now I have to cross the
solenoid to get it to turn over, but it won't fire. Does anyone have any idea which components, aside from the solenoid, I may have ruined?
Everything I've read since tells me there is no fuse to protect the circuit from dummies. Hopefully it's the coil, but I'm naturally concerned it
may be more. There is good voltage to the starter button, good voltage to the solenoid when the starter button is depressed. Of course, we're
heading straight to winter. Couldn't happen in the spring! Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jim Walsh
