Original distributor is "late TE D.....D3A4 V151 40298A". Could someone tell me very detailed that how I change new bearing? And is there somethink else what I have to replace? Problem is that distributor shaft "wobbles" slightly.

I have disassembled distributor so much that I can see already the centrifugal weights...

INFO: Taken from HARRY FERGUSON ORIGINAL SERVICE MANUAL:
SECTION G:
I've followed these steps and re-built several Dist.

My -52 TED's original distributor is "late TE D.....D3A4 V151 40298A", so bearing size is 1/2 X 1 5/16 X 3/8?

I've serviced several of these DISTRIBUTOR assemblies. The BEARING assembly can be of a LARGER design or of the SMALLER design.
LARGER design :
RHP bearings IDENT INFO: LJ1/2Y
SMALLER design:
NSK bearing IDENT INFO: R8C3E**

The SMALLER bearing assembly:
I/D .500"
O/D 1.125"
Thickness .250"

The LARGER bearing assembly:
I/D .500"
O/D 1.3125"
Thickness .375"

Thanks for information. One more question... My distributor have small washer above the bearing (below centrifugal force plate sheet). Is it original? I can't see it in the picture.... =0

Now I have installed distributor back in the engine. Could someone tell me what is normal "backlash" between distributor and engine part (cogwheel)? I think that because it is nice to know, do I have to turn all "backlash" (direction of rotation) away before I set timing?

Distributor centrifugal weights are ok, "backlash" is whre distributor sits. Help me...

At the top of your page type in ......TEA29, setting the timing???....
This is done on the archives header:
READ EVERYTHING:
It shall help you GREATLY.
Once again type in :

TEA29, setting the timing???

I read that top again, BUT is that reason why my engine RPM "seesaw"? I look again my distributor and i found that...

(quoted from post at 01:18:18 11/06/15) Yes.... I would definitely replace the driven end of the DISTRIBUTOR ...as well as the driver end.

Thanks. Which are these part correct names?

1. Distributor drive dog?
2. Distributor drive gear (part in the engine)?

FERGUSON REPAIR PARTS LIST page 42/43 PART # 6 is ROLL-PINNED onto the DISTRIBUTOR and is called "DRIVE DOG" Part # 829 844 M1
This DRIVE DOG has TWO drive TANGS. In the past I've BRAZED these Drive Dogs and filed to fit. Others have had a Machine Shop machine BRAZED TANGS back to original. TAKE NOTE: These DRVE DOGS are machined OFF CENTER.

FERGUSON REPAIR PARTS LIST page 6/7 PART # 50 is in the ENGINE BLOCK and is called "OIL PUMP DRIVING GEAR ASSEMBLY" Part # 825 264 M91. This DRIVE GEAR has two machined "KEYWAYS" that match with the "TWO DRIVE DOGS" on the end of the Distributor shaft. I've never rebuilt the "OIL PUMP DRIVING GEAR ASSEMBLY" as I had a serviceable used "OIL PUMP DRIVING GEAR ASSEMBLY"
