Are you asking about eye bolts? McMaster Carr has them, lots to choose from, search "eye bolts" Better
hardware stores also have them. Be sure to get the one piece forged type, not the loop style.

If photos come up I use hooks bolted to front of tractor or on my IH I drop chains from frame with hooks.

In Minnesota you better have 4 chains and 4 binders to hold that tractor on the trailer even though it would be safe with 2 chains and a single binder. It cost a neighbor $500 to find that out as the DOT explained that his way with 2 chains, one wrapped over the bucket of the loader and then the tractor backed to pull that tight, then a chain on the rear with 2 binders to keep it from shifting just wasn't safe enough.

Michigan Dot does not like you having only two binders either. Haven't heard of any nasty fines like Minn. but they will let you know if they see you.

I use four chains and four binders. I don't want to have that tractor coming off trailer. I use grade 70 chains and binders.

From hear say Michigan DOT doesn't bother you much at all if you are using four ratchet binders. They are not in favor of the other style.

I'm using the ratchet style binders. Never have liked the lever-over style. They're just a broken arm waiting to happen.

Moving to 4 binders, 4 chains. haven't decided if i'm going to cut my current chains into 2, or buy 2 more. All Gr 70 stuff.

Where do you folks that do 4 chains attach your chains on the back end of your fergies? Go around the axle trumpets? If so, do you sleeve your chains or something to keep them from scratching?
