I need some transmission parts and i know of a guy that is parting out a 35. Is the 35
the same as TO35. Many thanks. James

I guess you are asking if a TO 35 and a MF 35 are the same as there was no "35" built with out some other identifying item. I would say yes unless the MF 35 has Multipower. I do not know if there is any difference in the single stage and dual stage clutch transmissions. I do not have a MF 35 parts book so I can not tell you 100%. I just noticed in the parts book there are some differences between serial number 171549 up and 171549 down on the reverse gear shaft as one has 13 and 21 teeth while the other has 17 and 21. By the way since you say you have a 1956 TO 35 I am still researching the 1956 TO 35. I would appreciate it if you would send me your serial number off the dash tag as it might be what I am looking for. My email is [email protected] Thank you Richard

Your best bet is to find a parts manual from that era and research parts numbers. I am willing to bet the TO/MF 35 will share a lot of same parts. Single/dual clutch might be a slight problem with the trans but I would say a bunch of the other internals will swap out. I have a single clutch trans from a SGM (?) TO-35 and it needs to leave. problem for me is the time to get it to strip it down to base gears without the case for shipping.

Here's the PARTS INFO from the MF 35:

Yes please, there is no hurry. I am researching two different years of the TO 35s and something different about both. When ever you get it I will appreciate it. Thank you Richard
