need some tips

no matter what I've tried I cannot get a good seat with oil filter canister. I've tried different positions with canister and two gaskets. on a different 35 two gaskets wirked and another 35 nothing worked so I changed it to a spin on filter. thanks for any help!

Make sure the filter that you put on the tractor is a full flow filter.

If you changed to spin-on, why do you need a tip on the canister? Just for info I guess. Well, the canister only uses one gasket. Maybe using two gaskets is your problem.

Perhaps a longer...oops. Ok, Mis-matched threads between the filter and the tractor, Failure to grease the gasket before installation. Excessive tightening. Three most common.

thanks guys. I finally got it to stop leaking. added another gasket and turned the canister about a quarter turn. nice and dry now.
