CL seller asked 100. I offered 75 and he took it.

Maybe for the $100 you could have gotten a longer one...
Bet you really wanted a longer one didn't ya?
Then again, a short one might be all you could really afford.
Hope she can stand the disappointment of your shorter one and doesn't leave you.
Mebbe you should have gotten a longer one. Then you could draw a line somewhere. . .
I had a long one. I sold it and got a heavy duty curved one.
I suppose someone has to get a short one.

nice tools, I have used mine for a number of things over the years.
good for digging potato's. like yours mine does not have a sheer bolt, that would be nice.

the old sub soiler has the sheer bolt option, so far I have never broken one, but it does go deeper in the ground.

both tools are nice to have around.

Yeah, but it nice to know that you can reach out if you feel the need. I suppose you could take that in for an extended version. Then again carrying around all that extra weight might be uncomfortable...

Now that you have another implement you're going to need another tractor.
The middle buster plow is a nice little implement for not a lot of money. Great for making furrows and harvesting taters. I even have one in the one point style for my cub.

I do appreciate your concern as far as the extra weight goes. sometimes less is more; ya know? I was once told that "anything more than a handful is waste". I have subscribed to that theory ever since.

This is getting to be fun.
..."I was once told that "anything more than a handful is waste". I have subscribed to that theory ever since."
Looking at the bottom end of that implement it looks like you have already violated that theory.
It's just a shame you have all that width and no where to go with it. Then again, scratching the surface can be fun...

Tevie...you hurt me. All that width and no length. Gotta get some penetration if ya' got width. Having width and no penetration just seems like a bit of a waste...

"Now that there is funny. I don't care who you are."

Your middle buster shank is only 8"? WOW! That is short!! Like I said, better get a long one...
Better to do plowing with I have heard tell. . .
