Hey, Jason...

How's that "new" TO-20 coming along? (The one with the scary looking crank/crankcase that you posted pictures of a while back.)

Were you able to put that air cleaner to good use?

To be honest Tom, the engine is sitting on the stand waiting to be installed. Usually I'm off work from June until October every year. It didn't happen this year. I've had to work up until now and I've got a few weeks off to try and get 5-6 months worth of work done in 3 weeks or so. The rear end went out of my truck, so I went and got a used 3rd member from the junkyard and it was no good. So I'm currently building a 9 inch Ford 3rd member to put in it, then I have to get my square baler back together because I had new wood slides made for the plunger, then try to bale enough square bales and sell to buy a new 16.9x28 tire for my MF 175 because I had a tire blow out and that tire is only $738.00 plus the inner tube and fluid. I've got to finish boxing in my shed and then start building a new one because a 32'x40' shed is not big enough. I got to get the corn picker out and greased cause it won't be but a couple weeks and it will be corn picking time. This has not been one of my better years...lol

A vicious circle ain't it Jason? Ya can't farm without a job, and can't farm with a job. Better than being broke tho.
Did you ever do a ceramic block repair experiment? I still got that Z129 block... and it ain't getting any newer... If I found enough wire brush-able parts in a barrel someplace.... I'd build it up again.... I hate to see a Continental go to waste...

Jason,
I know I'm a distance from you but I may have a couple of tire for your 175. I had a 165 in the shop for a while and have two rear tires from that tractor. Certainly not looking for retail. I think we've crossed paths in the past.
