Now I know this picture is only of a book but I have heard it from a couple of people that some dealers here in Australia may have painted some tea 20's grey and gold around the time of the grey and gold 35's being brought out here. If this is so , does anybody know of one or have one?

Stories may have been a little muddled over time Ben .

Lots of Grey and Gold FE35s were painted Grey and Red by dealers and farmers . Dealers were stuck with unsold Gold ones so updated the paint for farmers who understandably wanted the ' latest models ' . These were sold at a significant discount even though they were essentially the same tractor .
Some TE20s were painted red but I suspect this was done only by owners not by dealers .
