Need front bucket dimensions for 1954 T0-30

Need to know what size bucket for this tractor.Found one that is 4' wide.Nit sure it is too small.Thanxs,stefanP
 
what kind of loader?
I have a loader frame with a trip bucket between the arms and another with a typical front mounted bucket.
Your problem real quick gets to be what are you planning to load it with? Bark dust or gravel? Dirt? The heavier it gets, the more it won't steer. That means you get to add 2" longer (fabbed) steering links on top of the spindles.
Oh yeah, and the front axle was not designed to handle all that weight either. When you fracture it enough times and it finally breaks, get another front axle center section and reinforce the back of it with steel plate. I used diamond plate on a 9N center section for the wife's TO-20.
If you can fab it yourself, I believe it was welded in with nickel rod and placed into a normal kitchen oven with holes punched in both sides so it would fit and allowed to slowly cool. About 100 degrees per hour until down to the last 100. Then shut it off and let it set until it achieves room temp.

I have a 1954 TO30 with a Wagner loader on it. The bucket on it measures 39" wide. With a load of dirt that is big enough. Also have a 6' wide saw dust bucket for it but never put it on. Allan.
 
Thanxs for all the comments . I'm trying to sell the tractor and figure having a bucket on the front would make it more appealing to a prospective buyers.
 
Are you saying it has a loader but no bucket?? If so, yeah, having a bucket helps. In truth, these tractors are not good loader tractors for several reasons. So if the loader isn't real nice, it probably will sell just as well without the loader at all. What I'm saying is, if the loader and pump aren't very good, you probably are better off selling the tractor and scrapping the loader than selling both together again if the loader is less than nice.
