TO 30 Spindles

I am in the process of replacing the spindle bushings and thrust bearings on the front axle of a TO 30. When I disassembled the spindles there was a washer between the thrust bearing and the bottom part of the spindle. I don't see any washers in the parts diagram on the AGCO site. Are the washers original or someone's attempt to correct wear at the spindles? Thank you in advance.

No washers unless someone has modified it.

Try putting just the thrust bearing on, install the spindle, put the steering arm on. With the spindle all
the way up, and the steering arm all the way down, the arm should be flush or slightly below the end of the
spindle shaft. If the steering arm goes down so far that the bolt won't go through, then put the washer back
on, try fitting the arm back on.

Found the same thing in mine. The washer looked like the remnants of the bottom side of a thrust bearing. As Steve said, check the fit and go from there. I put the washer back to get mine just right.

Items 12/14/16/17 are all the same parts used in the TO30/TO20/TE20/TEA20 and possibly other tractors?
Last month I replaced the right front spindle on a MASSEY FERGUSON FE 35 X..Diesel(1963)and yes,I used the complete spindle/hub and thrust bearing from a 1951 TEA 20 FERGUSON.......A straight swap.
There was NO washer below item # 16

Thank you gentleman. I will get it together this weekend. Old tractors are like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates. You never know what you
have until you get in to it.
