to-35 manifold

My boss has a to-35 that is in need of a new manifold. YT sells one for a reasonable price and the nuts on the studs don't look to be rusty. The problem I'm seeing is that the nuts appear to be partly hidden behind the manifold. How do you get a wrench on them? My first thought is to use a socket, but I don't think it will go onto most of them. The bottom ones I might be able to get at with an open end wrench, but what about the top ones? I'm sure there is an answer, but I'm not that familiar with Fergusons. Thanks.

I would spray a top quality penetrating oil on the nuts for a few days before, if you have that much time.

I bought new nuts when I re installed the manifold.

I used a combination of tools, sockets, ground down socket on one or two, wrench bent at an odd angle, etc.

I found that some of the manifolds you can buy are not as clean a casting as the original.

so its thicker in some spots that makes it harder to work with.
I have some snap on tools and sockets, they are very good quality and thin walled, so they worked well.

I think wellmax nailed it.. you use all your options, and create a few new ones (i had to grind my wrenches thinner, and even narrow up the legs.. could just get on the nut. He's also right that some manifolds are better than others. I think Steiner's is supposed to be pretty good for nut access.
