I have a ford 8n that I'm trying to put a Detroit harvester sickle mower on and im missing the break away mount and the 3 point chain mount. Is there any way you could send me detailed photos of your break away mount so I can try to build 1 please let me know thanks.

Yes that helps a lot thank you! Do you happen to know roughly the measurement from the top of the bracket to the center of the ball joint?

Need to know which model mower you have? Detroit Harvester built mowers for both Ferguson and Ford/Dearborn. A Ferguson 6-AEO-A20 is the same mower as a Dearborn 14-1. The lift arm extensions shown in that pic are used on the later Dearborn 14-15 mowers. They are not needed on the earlier mowers. I'm thinking you have an earlier mower because you wanted to know about the chain mount. The earlier mowers used a chain that hooked into teeth on the top link. Post a pic if you can. I have both mowers. Luckily the breakaway bracket is the same for all those mowers.

I'm new here and don't quite know how this works, however if this gets to 8N Tim I want him to know that I have a Dearborn sickle mower model 14-12 (I think) and have that breakaway bracket. I am parting out the mower and have the lift extensions as well. Mine has a fixed top link (no chain). Let me know if you can. Knuck

It wouldnt matter. It's a completely different shaft from the earlier 14-1 mowers.

breakaway bracket for mounting a ferguson A- EO -
b20 to an 8n. do you still have the one for sale from
