So it started by looking for Ferguson parts on Craig's list. I found a belt drive and cordwood saw for my friend Chris, which should have been enough, but, there was also a pond scoop and of course a running tractor with snowplow (great for the north east). The deal was made for the saw and belt drive. The pond scoop was up for discussion. Then the tractor was too good to pass up. $1730 brought all that and a ten foot dump trailer home.

I need to stop looking for parts, though have my eyes on another TO30 for parts.

Ps. Tractor does run really well, needs axle seals and brakes.

I have seen saws sell for $1500 down here . Bargain is not a strong enough word to describe what you got :shock:

So that's what happened to all the stuff on CL!!!!
Did you get that one bottom plow near New Haven? Miner wanted that... but he drives too slow...
Take some pics of that scoop for us please, and who made it? If I thought it was an HF, I would have bought it last month... have a belt drive from years ago, and I am allergic to buzz saws...
Yeah that 30 with the plow was tempting... but..... oh btw, I went back and bought that camper top in Lenox, but took the pike home...
 
The stuff came from a dairy farm in Ct, the grandfather purchased in the late 20's. Tractor was purchased used in 1963, still has a dealer tag on
hood. The grandson and dad are reducing their inventory so I was happy to help.

Will post better pictures of scoop when I can. I am having a hard time trying to identify it as there are no tags.
 
Tony you think you could talk him out of dump trailer? You could pull it behind your new camper to EXPO and then I could pull it to Texas. Be sure it has good tires. LOL
 
Sure... we'll put your missus on the back, rocking chair, shotgun, granny gown... play some Flat and Scruggs on an 8 track... no one will guess it came from New England.... and if she asked, yes she can wear her longhorns hat.....
