Which are Zenith 24T-2 carburetor float measurement?
I want to know especially float height? Thanks.

I have refurbished at least a dozen Zenith 24T-2 Carbs. as per the FERGUSON SERVICE MANUAL SECTION E PAGES 2/3/4/5/6&7. There is no FLOAT HEIGHT adjustment or measurement, only the
NOTE:
INSTALL float with TOP up.
The slow running mixture screw is set at 1/2>1 turns open from the fully closed position.
The adjustable main Jet should be of one of two designs:
STANDARD TYPE MAIN JET or MIN/MAX main jet
Standard main Jet has a "Torque lever" just a small diam. rod through the end of the jet for the operator/tech. to turn the needle valve in or out. Set at 2 > 2 1/2 turns open from fully closed.
Min/Max Type main Jet has a KNURLED head for the operator/tech.to turn the needle valve in or out. Set at 2 turns open from fully closed.
The float arrangement of the Zenith 24T-2 has no mechanical connection to the body of the Carburetor. It floats in the Liquid chamber of the Carb. on fuel. There is no hinge, fulcrum or foundation connection holding the float in place. The float is a true float.
I always use the finest cut FILE and dress the mating surfaces of the upper and lower halves of the Carb. as over the years over touring of the Flat blade threaded cap screws had warped the housing were the gasket seals.
