anyone have a handy tip or two for replacing the ammeter on a TO-35? sure would hate to take the dash off if I don't have to.
thanks.

I just replaced the one on my 35. Fortunately my wife has small hands and willing to help my big old fingers will not work in that small space. Find some one with small hands to help and good luck. Randy

It's tight but just takes time. I take a long extension, swivel joint and turn by hand to remove nuts. I pull gauge out and then remove wires if wire is left long. Just remember which post wire is on or it will show discharge. I start tractor to check gauge before putting nuts back on new gauge. New gauge will probably have not have the regular nuts.
