TED 20 - carburetor fuel line connector

Hello! I have TED 20 (year 1952). I want to know the original size of the carburetor (Zenith 24 T2) fuel line connector. Is it 1/2 unf, 1/2 NPT, 1/2 BSP or somethink else?

It is a most peculiar and difficult thread to identify.

It is a 7/16th European brake pipe nut that has a 3/8th UNF 24tpi thread . Normally the 3/8th nut would have a 3/16th hole through the middle , a 1/4 inch hole for the fuel line is too large for the outer size so this was increased to 7/16ths and the internal 3/8th UNF thread retained !
