TO 30 temperature gauge

Where is the best place in the block to put a temperature gauge on a TO 30

It goes in the left bottom side of the thermostat housing. At least that's where the factory cap tube type goes. Really that's the only practical place to put it, it has to be in the hot water outlet to get a good reading.
