Why was ground speed pto option included on our TO35 Ferguson tractors?
I thought it was for use with the Ferguson 3 pt hitch hay rake.

Do TO30 TO20 have this ground speed option?

I have an MF35 that gets used for raking with a Ford 3 point hitch rake. I like the ground speed PTO for raking, it is really handy. I mostly rake in 2nd H or sometimes 1st H if I have to climb really steep hills.

found some more uses for Ferguson ground speed pto.

A lot of people use ground speed to turn a pto driven hay rake,

there are also planters that use ground speed pto, so the planter is driven accordantly with the speed the tractor is moving.

The same method is also useful in starting other old tractors with PTO but without starter motor. question this one, do not know how you would hook them up????
I use my MF35X to start my old Case tractors (C,L,LA).

also you can jack one rear wheel up and place tractor in reverse, lock other brake and let out on clutch, the hung up post hole digger will back itself right out of the hole!!!!!!!!!!!
