Testing Generator

Anyone have or know how to set a Associated Equipment Corporation 8600 Series tester to test a generator? I've seen it done but PO died and manual only shows starters and alternator set up.

A who? What? I know how to check generators with normal multimeters...
You sure the last owner didn't die from using this thing???

On-line info says nothing about generators. Only starters & Alt.

No idea what that test equip is, but try this doco, i used it to check mine..
