TO 30 sleeves

A friend has a TO 30 with the 129 Continental engine and it is getting anti freeze into the oil pan. I'm not familiar with this engine, does it have wet sleeves so the anti-freeze could be leaking by the o-ring seals? Tractor is in great condition other than this.

These engines are well known for cracked block between the cylinders. They do have wet sleeves but I doubt that's your problem.

I was afraid of something like that, he doesn't use it his nephew does so it is possible that it didn't have enough anti-freeze in it over the winter. It has been sitting since last fall. Always sits all winter.

Try liquid glass before you take it down. I've seen it work on a lot of leaks. Follow the directions and it will work. After draining antifreeze then adding water, glass, and running then draining I let set overnight with no water. Seems to work better. Barrs Liquid Glass cost about $9.
