Pressing Water Pump

Changed the water pump today on the 35. Thought this might help someone. First measure the distant from pulley to pump housing. Some pumps will have different length shafts. After clamping the pump and having in position you press the old pump off pulley by pressing on the shaft on end of pulley housing. Then put pulley housing on top and place new pump on housing and press on new pump shaft at impeller. Be sure to use a bolt that is same size as impeller shaft. If it's bigger you will bust impeller or housing. Keep a close check to distant that you first measured and stop when you have same as old one. This will keep fan belt in line with generator.
