TO20 or TO30 cylinder head swap?

Guys,
In my I&T manual it says that you cannot use a TO20 Cylinder head on a TO30. I have two questions, first, why not? is there a difference in the oil flow path? Second, can you use the TO30 head on the TO20 or is this covered under the same problem as the other way?
