Sad day, happy day

Well, it is s sad day indeed.... Sold my 1957 TO 35 I have had for 18 years. I spent many enjoyable hours on and in that tractor. However, it went to a very nice YOUNG man, his first tractor, and that makes me very happy. There are not nearly enough young guys that know about these wonderful Ferguson tractors. I have new one and just couldn't bear the thought of not using it, and it deteriorating. I have spent far too many hours rebuilding and using it to see anything about it deteriorate. That young man got a really good tractor, and he was so proud when he left with it. I suspect we will have a new young member of this forum soon.

Keeping the tradition alive is a wonderful thing. Hopefully sold for enough money so he should feel vested in his best interest to keep the machine in an operable condition. Not another modern convenience to be easily disposed of with no great financial burden. As for his first tractor ya' sold him a good one. he should be over the moon with joy!

I just bought my first tractor a TO35 this past May. I am a city boy who retired and moved to the country and I love this thing. I am always doing something with it and to it and want to get it in good shape. I got lucky its a pretty good running and looking tractor too. Yes Im over the moon with joy (smile)
