hit a snag

I hate it when something stupid like this occurs.

the stem from the sediment bowl assy. hits the battery box preventing me from tightening said assy. does the stem pull out or is it more complicated???

in the mean time I will put the generator back on.

After the nut is removed from the stem it should just pull out.

it's in there snug for sure. might have to use a pliers to pull it out.

I recently had mine apart. It didn't want to come out so I kept pulling until it did. Of course, "just pull harder" can be dangerous advice unless one is certain yours is like mine. But in my case it worked. No promises for anyone or anything else.

I had the stem wrapped in rubber in a vise and it wouldn't move. sure don't want to wreck my new part nor do I want to take the gas tank off.

Try screwing it out. It may be screwed in to turned off position.

The rubber seal on the stem might be stopping it from coming out just pull a little harder and it should come out
