TEDF 20 Oil Pressure

What's normal or dangerous? It starts cold
at idle with 60psi. Revs up and shows
80psi. When warm idles with 25psi and when
throttled up shows 50ish.

Ah Thanks. Ordered a manual, just hasn't arrived yet. Fresh filter/oil 10w-30. Starting to wonder if the relief valve is stuck.

So at idle I'm within parameters under load wide open I'm very high on the pressure. The gauge agrees with one i borrowed from work.

I think you're OK.

Normal to go over when cold and at full throttle, and you're not that far off when it's warmed up. If the relief valve were stuck, it would be pegging the gauge, blowing the filter, etc.

If there is an external adjustment, might try to bring it down a little, but if it meant going into the pan, I would let it be and be glad for what I have!

That appears to be one of those made in India reproduction gauges. If it is,they aren't the most accurate gauges. You might want to hook a known accurate gauge, like a hand held gauge to it and see what the pressure actually is. While your gauge could be right, it's not uncommon for those gauges to be 10-15lbs off in either direction.

Yes but what I was meaning was it looks like a new
gauge and all of the new reproduction gauges I
have seen are made in India.
