Fuel drips from glass bowl on fuel shutoff

If it still leaks with a new gasket the base may be warped at the gasket area. I've seen that happen when the bail is overtightened. Sometimes two gaskets will work but if warped badly the base will need replaced.

one leaked for me the other day, I was lucky as all I had to do was tighten the bail. but sooner or later it will cause trouble again. most likely when the weather gets colder.

I have had this problem too. I had some 1/16 cork from a project and made a second gasket out of it and sandwiched the screen,I also soaked the gaskets in oil for a while before installing them. It has helped so far.
 
Make sure it is not from the connection from the tube going to the carburetor, I have gotten gaskets from ace hardware, mine was not the bowl it was the connector,
