Has anyone had a problem with the value on the sediment bowl? What is happening to me is that on IDLE the value will leak wether in normal or reserve position. When the tractor is running ( moving) its okay and even after I shut the tractor and close the value It works properly . If I do not shut the value when the tractor is off is will still drip out of the value. I have replaced the entire unit 3 times in the last 2 months and still hav ethe problem. Is it just the made in China parts? Tractor is a 55 TO35 gas

Are you talking about leaking around the stem? And I assume you've tried tightening the gland nut?

If that's where it's leaking, try taking the nut and stem out, add some teflon tape around the stem just
behind the nut. What you're doing is adding some more packing behind the nut, when you tighten back down on
the nut it should squeeze it in around the stem and stop the leak.

Armand it does not make any difference in what country parts are made. It all comes back to the person that orders the parts. If that person doesn't care how they are made it is that person's fault if they don't work properly. I personally wish all parts for everything were made in the great USA. Yes that could cause a trade inbalance. Oh well that is to bad.

I'm with Richard on this one. First, if you can you are better off to rebuild an original one than to buy a new one. If you have to buy a new one try buying one from Agco. More than likely what you get from Agco will be of better quality than these aftermarket ones. Even though sometimes the same company might make the parts for both the aftermarket and OEM, most of the time the OEM is built to a higher standard because OEM specs say it has to be. Aftermarket doesn't have a set of specs it has to meet, it just has to appear to be the same part.

Thanks guys , I'll try the teflon tape and see what happens. I bought the fuel sediment bowl unit at TSC off the shelf. I will try Agco in the future if need be.
