I got my meter working. It appears to be the original. It has 5,140 hours on it now and works just fine. My question is how accurate is the RPM function on it? Engine sounds ok at the 540 PTO mark. Also had a local iron worker make me up 2 stablilzer bars and what a difference they make. Not bad for $28 bucks and no shipping. Got this all done with all of you guys input. Thank you again.

I would placed a hand held tack on the PTO. When tack reads standard PTO on hand held tack, check to verify reading on tractor tack.
