stabilizer bar lengths

I have a 1955 TO35 and I've read here the stabilizer bars should be 31 1/2 inches long, eyelet to eyelet (same as the lower lift bars), iIf not it can cause binding or possible bending of the life arms. The length from the pins from the axle to lower lift arm is 30 1/2 inches (measured when the arms are in the lower position) and they line up nice and straight. Is this length normal or if not should I just get adjustable stabilizer bars.

The length isn't really critical, unless you use them in pairs. At worst you'll just hold the implement a little off center.

If I use a pair of bars what would be the proper thing to do..

I have one fixed width and one adjustable. That works well. I especially like it because I can attach the implement and then take out all of the play (if I want to) with the adjustable one.

I tried the adjustable ones from TSC and hey didnt fit because of the angle at the end of the eyelet on the bar. The worker there said they dont make straight eyelet ends.
